  Mark Wingo, Preaching Minister

Favorite Place:  Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky.  It has always been a relaxing, peaceful place to me.

Hobbies:  Hiking, traveling, visiting state and national parks, and doing yard work at home.

Music:  Lately I've enjoying listening to Roger Hodgson, former lead singer of Supertramp (70's & 80's group). When I listen to Roger's music I often think about the Lord, which is a good thing.  His song, Lord is it Mine is awesome!  I've always been a big Rush fan (the Canadian music group).  I really enjoy their music and the sentiment of a number of their lyrics, but I don't agree with everything they have to say.  I also like Rich Mullins music (saw him once in concert), Nathan Clark George (James Taylor sound), and Casting Crowns.

Books:  I'm not a bookworm, but I do read.  There are a lot of good quotes at Preachingtoday.com that can be used in messages, which makes things easier on me.  I have always enjoyed reading Max Lucado's books and Frank Peretti's fiction.

Dislikes:  Raisins, coconut (I like the flavor but not the texture), mice, and the little blue lady on the Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland.

Bible Verse:  2 Corinthians 4: 16-18 (I have it memorized!)

Something Odd/Different about yourself:  I cannot stand the sight of human hair--unless it's on somebody's head!

Favorite Place:  The Aspen trees of Mt. Humphreys in Flagstaff as the wind blows through the forest on a cool spring day.

Hobbies:  Video games, entertaining people, and Star Wars

Music:  Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, 80's hair bands, and any Christian music

Books:  Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis

Dislikes:  Rush hour traffic, country music, and liver

Something Odd/Different about yourself:  I decided long ago to be a person who himself is odd and different for the enjoyment of others.
